Around 60 people exposed to the sun while working die from malignant melanoma or non-melanoma skin cancer each year.

 

Another 240 cases of malignant melanoma linked to occupational exposure are registered a year – on top of more than 1,500 cases of non-melanoma skin cancer.

 

That’s five people a day in the UK alone being diagnosed with skin cancer caused by work exposure
